Twenty-six Nippers from the Club attended the above competition recently and came away with yet another great result.
Team Manager and Nipper Officer, Traci Parker said “James Burlingham (Nipper Officer) and myself were very proud to manage the team of 13 girls and 13 boys, many of whom were competing at the National Stillwater championships for the first time. We were delighted to come 6th overall out of 20 clubs from all over the Country (3rd Cornish Team), bringing home 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. Most importantly, all of the children who competed had a good time, enjoying the chance to show off the skills they have learnt and trained to improve. Thanks also to the parents and friends who came to support. This was a great end to the winter season, especially coming on the heels of our recent successes at the Cornish Stillwater championships. There are only three weeks left in the pool now before we head back to the beach, for our summer sessions.”
