Full report to follow but in the meantime here are some results that I have finally got from the SLSGB website.

Our small Youth team attended the above championships at Cardiff on Sunday 22 April and finished in 8th place overall (2nd Cornish Club) out of the 21 Clubs taking part and came home with 5 Bronze medals.

The standard is always very high and to even to get points is a great achievement, so to bring home a medal is a fantastic achievement.

Very well done to everyone who took part and those that helped, supported and trained the Team.

Medal winners were: –

Daire Peters (15-17 yrs) – Bronze in 100m Manikin Tow with Fins

Tom Onley (18-19 yrs) – Bronzes in 50m Manikin Carry and 200m Super Lifesaver

Emily Corin (18-19 yrs) – Bronze in 100m Manikin Tow with Fins

Lifesaver Relay (new event) – under 17 girls – Bronze (team names to follow)

Other team members were: – Jenna Smitham, Morva Hughes, Brittany Smaldon, Isla Symons, Vicky Burlingham, Kathryn Onley, Liam Jolly, Tegen Hughes, Abbe Reskelly, Bethany Prisk, Amy Jolly, Nicki Russell, Michael Hammond.
